SUMMARY OF DUTIES
As directed by the Director of Organizational Impact, the Data Analyst is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of data systems and all participant data within the scope of the Performance Department and benefit of the agency at large. Makes recommendations to the Director of Organizational Impact when analyzing data trends. Complies, tabulates and prepares a variety of reports related to Performance Department and programs. Utilizes statistical tools to assist the Director of Organizational Impact and other staff in the analysis of data and reports. Provides back up to the Director of Organizational Impact. Position involves a high degree of confidential information.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- BA Preferred Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major. Requires basic knowledge or training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work, professional accounting, finance, business administration, and marketing.
EXPERIENCE
- Over two year, up to and including three years.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Makes recommendations to the Director of Organizational Impact when analyzing data trends and outcomes for better quality performance throughout the organization.
- Ensures and assists with the implementation of system compliance within the Performance Department purview by reviewing clinical reports, data, tables and listings.
- Develops and maintains data bases for Performance Department, making revisions as needed.
- Maintains and modifies, as necessary, electronic data management system(s)
- Analyzes and monitors data and develops reports associated with quality improvement processes, utilizing appropriate statistical tools.
- Trains staff in the development and use of data analysis tools and reports.
- Responsible for the analysis of new and existing data sources in order to propose amendments/improve methods of accessing and using data and to provide support for the development of new and existing data product.
- Provides research and prepares special reports and projects, including compiling and tabulating related data.
- Participates in department staff meeting and agency meetings, as required.
- Maintains confidentiality and integrity of reports, records and other information within the scope of this position.
- Fulfills data request for grants/proposals.
- Provides backup to the Director of Organizational Impact.
- Conducts workflow checks/adjustments in ETO for all programs statewide.
- Provides group/one-on-one trainings as well as refreshers in ETO for all programs statewide.
- Troubleshoots with staff via phone or in person for ETO for all programs statewide.
- Makes changes/reorders fields on demographics page in ETO.
- Merges duplicate cases/deletes/creates touch points/ data entry (demographics/touch points) in ETO.
- Sets up user accounts/makes changes to user accounts/resets passwords/disables accounts in ETO.
- Sets up user accounts in Relias as needed and runs reports as needed in Relias.
- Runs reports of staff trainings as needed in Relias.
- Provides access and usage of the Relias Learning Management System (RLMS) to new staff for all programs statewide. Back-up to Relias New Hire Orientation Trainings.
- Designs/Modifies program data bases for funder reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS
