Design & UX/UI Intern – CoDream Incubator (Kauai, HI – Onsite Only)

CoDream is an incubator creating commercially viable projects that aim to positively impact the world. We’re looking for a Design & UX/UI Intern ready to blend user research, wireframing, and aesthetic design to bring ideas to life. You’ll work closely with engineers, product leads, and fellow interns to craft intuitive interfaces and memorable user experiences.

Note: Housing and meals are provided onsite in Kauai.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct user research and wireframing to shape core product concepts
  • Design mockups and high-fidelity prototypes in tools like Figma or Sketch
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless UI implementation
  • Refine designs using user feedback and rapid iteration
  • Document style guides, components, and design decisions for future teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Comfortable iterating quickly and adapting designs based on feedback
  • Solid communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Background in UX research or testing
  • Experience creating design systems or style libraries
