Hardware & Fabrication Intern – CoDream Incubator (Kauai, HI – Onsite Only)
CoDream is an incubator building world-changing, commercially viable projects. We’re seeking a Hardware & Fabrication Intern to work hands-on with electronics, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping. You’ll design, test, and iterate on physical products in a high-energy environment.
Note: Housing and meals are provided in Kauai.
What You’ll Do
- Prototype and build physical products using 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines
- Develop Arduino/Raspberry Pi projects, integrating sensors and circuits
- Use CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks) to design components
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to iterate quickly on hardware solutions
- Document processes, materials, and best practices for future development
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with CAD or 3D printing and basic electronics
- Comfortable with hands-on prototyping tools and techniques
- Strong team player who adapts and solves problems on the fly
Bonus Points
- PCB design (KiCad, Eagle, Altium)
- Welding or advanced fabrication skills
- Previous experience in hardware startups or IoT
