Electrical Engineering Summer Intern

What will you do as an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern?

  • Work alongside our team on real-world projects, such as developing a mobile application, experimenting with algae for biofuel, helping firefighters and first responders stay in communication, or restoring a wetland or beach.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and other professionals on a wide range of exciting research and development projects—designing products that solve complex problems, developing smartphone apps, marketing energy drinks, or coordinating employee communication through a social network system.
  • Conceive and develop your own innovative project proposal and present it to the Review Committee.
  • Gain field experience by collecting data at client sites or in the field.

What are we looking for in an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern?

  • Problem-solvers with a passion for innovation.
  • Hardworking, quick learners, and self-starters.
  • Team players who are fun to be around and strong communicators.
  • Recent graduates (within the past year) or students currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a degree-seeking program (diploma, certificate, etc.) and taking at least a half-time academic or vocational/technical course load at an accredited high school, technical/vocational school, 2-year or 4-year college/university, or graduate/professional school.
