Sales Athlete (Travel Team)

Welcome to Sunrun! We are looking for Athletes. Competitive, driven, and confident individuals who are wanting an opportunity to travel the world, earn a high income while in college, and be a part of a program that develops young individuals into fierce entrepreneurs. Sunrun sponsors us “Athletes” with Nike, Lululemon, Vuori, and more while also paying young students within our program like D-1 and Professional Athletes.

This is a commission job, where individuals will be educated, trained, and developed to sell solar door to door. It may sound new or difficult, however on average all of our first time recruits do at least 2 sales on their first trip with us averaging $2000 for only working one week. Our top rookie in 2024, made over $120,000 in just 4 months of work, paid to him in full before the start of Fall Semester. Our average rookie makes about $30,000 in 4 months. Our veterans on the other hand who progress down the road, average over six figures in their second year and on, with 4 individuals on the travel team in 2024 making over $350,000+ in 4 months. The program is led by Divisional Manager, Savon Moniz (@savonmoniz on Instagram) who is a 12 year Door to Door Sales Veteran, #1 in sales in 2023 and will be providing the training and coaching along with the leadership group within the program.

If you’re a good fit, we‘ll travel you out to train, and test the job on a 6-10 day trip to see if we’re a good fit for you and for us, and if so extend an offer for another travel trip and ultimately our 4 month summer program where you are assigned. Our current travel locations are Los Angeles, San Diego, Oahu, Orlando, Dallas, Sacramento, and more to come as we grow and expand our reach.

Our programs travels young college students from all around the nation on Sales Blitzes (Fully Paid Trial Trips that are 6-10 Days Housing and Travel Provided), and our Summer Sales Program (4 Month Program with Housing Provided and Travel Provided for Qualified Candidates). Since 2020 our teams have worked in San Diego, Los Angeles, Oahu, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas and waning to expand to even more markets beneficial for solar.

The idea of solar is simple, the world doesn’t generate enough power through coal and fossil fuels to provide enough energy to support the country’s power consumption. So the government along with certain states have incentives for homeowners worth tens of thousands of dollars to add solar panels, and in some cases back up batteries to their homes to provide energy needed instead of the local utility companies. Now in the past, homeowners weren’t able to afford solar panels due to the upfront costs of the equipment and installation costs. Enter Sunrun, who has changed the game. Sunrun is able to offer homeowners the solar panels, without the equipment or installation costs, and provide solar as a service rather than having customers pay thousands to have them. It’s a bill swap, like switching your phone bill for a cheaper one. Example.. In California, the average electric bill is $350/mo and increasing by 10%+ each year. Sunrun can offer that same California homeowner solar and batteries for $200/mo without installation or equipment costs, no extra fees, save the homeowner on their monthly bill on month one, and that sales rep will be paid very well through incentives provided for homeowners to go solar.

Our systems are dialed for college students to join and find success fast. If offered to join a blitz in the near future, you will be provided with online training with our top representatives, training material and videos to learn before you travel out. Then once you travel to your blitz location, you will be given a daily classroom setting lesson to start the work day, have a veteran knock with you your first couple days, and be given feedback and additional support throughout the trip to improve and make good money your first trip out. 
 

Commission is paid weekly, you will be provided with comfortable and stylish work clothing as Sunrun Athletes are sponsored by Nike, Lululemon, Vuori and more. There is opportunity to earn stock and equity in Sunrun ($13B Publicly Traded Company) in just your first 4 months, along with bonuses, gift cards and opportunities to be promoted and earn additional pay after your first completed summer.

Upon being offered to join the Summer Program, if you meet the minimum requirements and finish the 4 months in full you will be invited to an all expense paid trip to Mexico or the Bahamas. There are also quarterly incentive trips offered, to New Zealand, Tahiti, Vegas Getaways, NBA/NFL/MLB Games, Concerts and more for top reps and incentive earners.
