IOP Receptionist
Position Summary:
Responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring all non-clinical operations of IOP Addictions under the direction of the Team Leader; may include coordination of the information system, providing receptionist activities, as well as maintaining accounting and budget records
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree in human services preferred
- Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Inpatient unit clerk, medical clinic, or other related field
- Required Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (renew upon its expiration)
- CPR
- First Aid
- CPI
- Preferred Experience: Experience in the field of human services or office management or both. Knowledge of medical terminology
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of calls/communication and message referral for IOP Teams and reception desk during business hours
- Answers the phones promptly; directs all incoming calls to appropriate individuals consistently displays phone courtesy for all IOP Teams and floor reception desk
- Manage reception area during business hours
- Maintain accurate scheduling of consumer appointments as required for all IOP related activities
- Assistance with consumer discharge and post discharge follow up procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
