SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Data & Impact Specialist (DIS) will be a hybrid role blending the program and department data and impact needs for the
organization.
The DIS will assist the Data & Impact Department in its data needs to include support with the internal Electronic Health Record
System (E.H.R.) as well as program and administrative (e.g., Grants, Development, QA, Training, etc.) data reporting and support
requirements. The position will work alongside the Director of Data & Organizational Impact as well as the Data Analysts in assisting
with all organizational data needs.
In addition, the DIS will be responsible for overseeing the Results-Based Accountability (RBA) process for all programs throughout
the organization. This process involves working with program leadership and staff in examining existing and developing new
(meaningful) program performance measures that will be tracked utilizing the RBA Scorecard software. This position is responsible
for helping the program develop trackable data points for use on their scorecard and in the organizations electronic health records
software (ETO). The Data & Impact Specialist will design and implement all Program RBA Scorecards, manage all data uploads, be
present and facilitate all Scorecard meetings where performance measures and results and determined. Further, they will help in the
creation of RBA funder reports, ensure all programs are in compliance with their scorecard measurements and do quarterly checks
to ensure meaningful performance measures. Additionally, this position will participate in the development of implementation of
evaluation studies as needed. Further, this position will work with programs on logic models (theory of change interventions). They
will also coordinate with programs on various measurement tools along with other key staff members.
Monthly and quarterly scorecard submission and overview of scorecards to determine ongoing validity of results, indicators, and
performance measures is required. This position will also be responsible for submitting updated, quarterly scorecards for all
programs, and an agency-wide scorecard, to the Director of Data & Organizational Impact.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major. Requires basic
knowledge or training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work, professional accounting, finance,
business administration, and marketing.

EXPERIENCE

Over two years, up to and including four years.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

❑ Ability to perform complex calculations and advanced statistics.
❑ Knowledge of databases and database administration to manage quality statistics and performance.
❑ Keen understanding of available technology and tools.
❑ Impact measure awareness and outcome design.
❑ Knowledge of Results Based Accountability and its Scorecard software, preferred.
❑ Understanding and active knowledge of the ETO Electronic Records system, preferred.
