This position is for the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HAVO) location, at the Hawaii National Park, in Hawaii.
Organize, maintain, and expand a website and app that contain many diverse, but related individual pages.

THIS POSITION MUST BE CONVERSATIONALLY FLUENT IN HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE AND BE ABLE TO WRITE HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE TEXT FOR GENERAL-PUBLIC AUDIENCES
 

  • Working directly with partners, contractors, exhibit fabricators, graphic designers, and private companies to coordinate creation, fabrication and installation of media products.
  • Using Adobe Creative Suite to design prepared layouts and finished products for print media (such as brochures, exhibits, flyers, posters, reports, etc.).
  • Maintaining sufficient working knowledge of new and emerging technologies to continually evaluate and improve media products.
  • Selecting visual materials (photographs, illustrations, maps, charts, diagrams, etc.) to support text and enhance esthetic appeal of publications and presentations (ideas and concepts).
