Retail Shop Sales Associate
Summary:
We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.
Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the stores profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Answering customers' questions and solving customer complaints
- Selling our store's products and maximizing sales
- Stocking shelves, setting up displays, checking in merchandise, ringing up merchandise, and performing cleaning duties
- Maintaining inventory and filling out paperwork
- Maintaining positive customer relations
- Work well with others and have a healthy atmosphere of competition among coworkers
Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to drive sales.
- Easily converses with customers and develops long-lasting relationships
- Possess self-initiative to maintain store standards and cleanliness consistently
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to simultaneously conduct multiple tasks
- Good time management
- Strong sales ability
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skill
Requirements:
- A High School diploma, equivalent, or a related field is advantageous
- Experience in sales is desired
- Able to work shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to use a ladder up to 10 feet
- Able to lift or move a minimum of 25 pounds
- Able to stand throughout the scheduled shift
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour, Bonus available for well-performing employees
Transportation: $10/day for 10 hours of parking *Free side street parking available
