Destination Representative

Grow your career as a Destination Representative within Worldstar, one of many industry-leading brands. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assistance, personalized recommendations in booking activities, tours, attractions, and events to Worldstar guests on all Islands.

  A successful Destination Representative will: 

  • Provide each customer with outstanding service
  • Assist the customer in selecting the product that matches their needs
  • Plan out the guest’s stay to maximize their experience
  • Ability to overcome objections and offer alternate solutions
  • Be self motivated with the ability to work independently in a sales driven environment
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and demonstrate the ability to generate sales and up sell product
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to resolve guest issues
  • Strong listening skills to identify the customer needs
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

A successful Destination Representative will have:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Knowledge of the destination- Hawaii
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Travel/ DMC operator experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak/write communicate effectively with customers, staff at all levels and vendors
  • Analyze, problem solve and trouble shoot issues with emphasis placed on satisfying the customer
  • Innovative self starter that adapts well to change and works effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent in English required, bilingual a plus
  • Flexible with scheduling and able to work all days as needed
