The Islands Are Calling! Save Lives In Paradise

The Oahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Oahu SPCA) is seeking part-time and full-time veterinarians. This position will help fulfill our mission of humanely reducing the number of homeless animals by providing sterilization and veterinary care to shelter and client owned animals. The available position entails shifts at our Wahiawa shelter (in the wellness department or high-volume spay/neuter surgery department) and/or our vaccine clinics located at the Petco stores across Oahu.

We are a non-profit no kill shelter seeking a veterinarian that is compassionate, detail oriented, works well in a team, shares knowledge to fellow staff members, and is passionate about furthering our mission. The ability to perform additional procedures (such as enucleations, amputations, mass removals, dentals…) is desired, but not required.

Join our team and lifesaving mission to reduce the number of homeless and abandoned animals in Hawaii. Since 2009, we have been the only no kill animal shelter in Oahu. We offer low cost and no cost sterilization and vet services to the public and help over 12,000 companion animals statewide every year. We have humanely reduced the number of homeless animals since we were founded by more than 60%. Proceeds of our low-cost veterinary and sterilization clinic go to the care, rehab, and adoption of our rescued animals.
