Aloha Bridal Connections (ABC) is a team of experienced wedding planners and day-of coordinators! We are a fun-loving and authentic crew that found our passions early in life. In 2013 we started this business out of our college dorm room (yes, really). Since then we have celebrated with over 1055 couples from all over the world. Although ABC has been based in Hawaii from the start, we’ve been fortunate enough to have the privilege of coordinating in several different states across the country!

ABC is so much more than just a small business, we are a team of open-minded individuals with a go-getter attitude. Like everything else in life, things never go exactly according to plan and when situations come up, it will always go much smoother when you have a team to put their heads together and make it happen. Hey there, aspiring social media and marketing enthusiasts! We're on the hunt for an awesome Social Media and Marketing Intern to join our tight-knit team for an exciting seasonal internship. Are you ready to dive into the world of weddings and create some magical moments with us? We thought so! We are seeking a passionate and creative intern to join our dynamic team for a seasonal internship. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting ABC's Marketing Director in expanding our online presence, engaging with our target audience, and driving brand awareness through various social media platforms! The best part? You'll be immersed in the world of weddings, love, design, and events!

Your Responsibilities:

Social Media Management: You'll create captivating content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and inquiries and respond promptly and professionally.

Content Creator: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create captivating and relevant content, including graphics, photos, videos, and blog posts! Source and curate user-generated content to showcase real wedding experiences and client testimonials.

Marketing Magic: Together, we'll cook up some marketing potions! You'll be part of crafting exciting campaigns that spread the word about our fabulous services and special offers. Prepare for a dash of creativity and a sprinkle of data analysis!

Social Butterfly: Engage, engage, engage! We want you to build meaningful relationships with our followers and partners. Chat with them, answer their questions, and spread the wedding excitement far and wide.

Analytics Boss: Keep a keen eye on those numbers! Dive into social media analytics to see what's working like a charm and what could use a little extra sparkle. We'll learn and grow together!

Event Fun: Get your hands dirty (and your camera ready)! You'll support our team during real wedding events, capturing enchanting moments and assisting with event logistics as needed. 

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Passionate about weddings, event planning, and the wedding industry in general.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Strong creative skills with experience in content creation and design tools (e.g., Canva).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics) is a plus.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Note: This internship is seasonal, and interns will not be considered as regular employees of ABC. However, exceptional interns may be considered for future opportunities within the company.
