Line Cook

We're looking for a responsible and passionate cook that works well under pressure in a team with aloha spirit. Cooks have the opportunity to work with a close knit team under Executive Chef Felipe's guidance. Exec. Chef Felipe has been Sous Chef at 53 by the Sea, Exec. Chef at Hilton Garden Inn, and most recently Exec. Chef at Roy Yamaguchi's Eating House in Kauai. Since then he has become Executive Chef at Margaritas Hawaii to pursue his passion in creative Mexican cuisine. Working closely with Chef Felipe in a collaborative environment is invaluable experience. Students will also see what it takes to operate a small growing business, and gain hands on experience in all aspects of the kitchen, from prepping to line cooking.

Responsibilities:

Following Head Chef's instructions
Organizing and storing away food deliveries
Prepping produce.
Replenishing items on the line.
Monitoring correct temperatures.
Plating and preparing dishes
On time.
Organized.
Clean.
