Commercial Deposit Analyst

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, engaging Commercial Deposit Analyst to join our Commercial Deposit Department. In this role, you will contribute to the overall growth of commercial deposit market segments and profitability through comprehensive analysis of industries, tracking of initiatives, reporting of results, and making recommendations. Support sales of Treasury Management services by assisting Treasury Management Sales Officers with customer inquiries, development of customer presentations, and reporting.

The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking, program management, corporate environment, or related experience required.
  • Background in Business, Banking or Treasury Management products and services a plus.
  • Experience with commercial customers or related field preferred.
  • Excellent oral communication and management skills required to communicate effectively with product managers, senior management, and other support personnel. 
  • Ability to analyze financials and calculate pricing and profit.
  • Problem solving skills, judgement, and tact to respond to inquiries and complaints with diplomacy. 
  • Knowledgeable in FHB deposits, loans, and retail products, particularly in business products. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be responsible, organized, and committed to meeting deadlines. 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure. 
  • Must be PC literate – Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Access. 
  • Must be creative and innovative to create competitive and unique business products.
