Site Development Coordinator

Reynolds Recycling, Inc. is Hawaii’s leader in recycling. With 12 convenient locations on Oahu, Reynolds Recycling is Hawaii’s largest recycler and plans are underway to expand operations promoting convenient redemption services in more neighborhoods. 

We are hiring an Intern Site Development Coordinator position to assist undergraduates in applying knowledge of marketing principles to real life experiences in a learning environment. Under the mentoring of the Director of Marketing, the Intern Site Development Coordinator will shadow and train in a wide range of marketing and advertising activities. This is a non-paid position.
 
Overview of position:
  • Researches, analyzes and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and improve competitive position.
  •  Conducts site analysis to determine profitability.
  • Identify and open new redemption sites and develop new business opportunities.
  • Assists in the development and production of promotional/advertising and collateral materials.
  •  Plan and coordinate advertising, marketing (events, newspaper, TV, radio, other media) for opening of new sites.
  •  Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue projections.
  •  Develop and implement strategies and programs to increase market penetration. 
  • Identify and articulate market and customer requirements, preferences, and develop programs.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of strategies and recommends changes as appropriate to attain goals.
 
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Marketing program at a two or four-year College or University.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license.
  • Must be computer literate and have knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment background check, physical and drug test results.
