You Have:
- 1+ years experience in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management
- Previous experience with ERP systems is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office 365, PDF, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently on several projects at one time
- Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
Your Powers:
- Enter daily P.O. requirements, send to the supplier through EDI or other electronic means
- Complete special projects and assignments as requested
- Confirm supplier order acknowledgments, scan for supplier confirmed delivery dates, and follow up on P.O.’s that are past due with suppliers daily
- Maintain strong working relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries
- Identify and expedite supplier ship dates to meet customer requirements for sales and production
- Meet or exceed inventory turn targets by effectively managing purchase order delivery dates and release schedules
- Issue requests for quotes (RFQ) and selects the best supplier source based on cost, quality, and delivery requirements
- Create PO’s demand requirements, while meeting/exceeding turn targets by managing PO dates.
