Office Intern
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Bikinibird Intern, you will learn the backend processes for our online and retail stores. You will be part of a team that creates an environment that brings our brand to life both online and on the sales floor and delivers a best-in-class shopping experience to our customers. As a Bikinibird Intern you will have the opportunity to learn how to effectively present exceptional brand image for unique in person and ecommerce shopping. Our Interns get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to run a successful retail and online store.

- A good communicator with the ability to effectively interact with your team to meet goals.
- Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to utilize retail technology
- Eager to learn what drives a thriving retail business
- Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Able to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 pounds.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Learn how to drive results through delivering an elevated customer experience.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale System, Shopify, to upload products ensuring description, pricing, and inventory is correct
- Upload photos and product descriptions to our online store
- Continually organize online collections in a cohesive and attractive order
- Assist in the creation of fun sales and promotions for in-store and online events
- Prepare product for our boutique sales floors by tagging and organizing for store delivery
- Assist in organizing photoshoots for products that need imagery for our online store
- Assist in the creation of sensational marketing ideas to drive sales via Instagram, Facebook and email
- Learn how to analyze inventory to keep our online store current with product availability
- Assist in determining product stock needs while considering current and future trends and styling
- Learn how to create an attractive and inviting sales floor
