Accounting Clerk (ALTRES In-House)

ALTRES has a full-time opening for an Accounting Clerk in-house at our Honolulu office!
As the Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting the entire accounting department with daily tasks and special projects. You will be working with a lot of numbers so you must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Responsibilities

  • File documents and prepare folders for various Accounting team areas.
  • Communicate with department members in person, email and phone to help with managing daily tasks.
  • Perform end of the week/month/year filing and assist with invoice distribution.
  • Assist with processing credit/account application and payments.
  • Carry out miscellaneous accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Some knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent office administration skills required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to manage time and workload.
  • Must be able to lift banker boxes (up to 35 lbs).
