Requirements

Solid troubleshooting skills to resolve LAMP Stack issues, especially as related to web hosting, including WordPress.
Experienced with WordPress full stack, including PHP, themes, templates, jQuery, WPCLI, & migrating customers data into new environment
Experience with Linux, MySQL / MariaDB
Adept at troubleshooting and finding the root cause of technical issues
Understands web hosting protocols such as TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, IMAP, SSH
Nice to have (not required)

Experience modifying IP tables rules
Write bash or python scripts

Other Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineer/technical discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Linux Professional International Certification I (LPIC-1) will be required after hire. Company will pay for study materials and exam fees.
Able to Touch type (type without staring at the keyboard)
Work Remotely Temporarily due to COVID-19. Work from home if there is no branch office located within commuting distance. Branch offices are in San Diego and Hawaii.
