Accounting Interns
Internships are being offered at N&K CPAs for both the Assurance and the Tax Services Divisions.
Internships allow students to work alongside team members and experience what the public accounting profession is all about.
Interns are given the opportunity to develop the business skills necessary to build the foundation for a successful career.
Assurance Division Interns will:
- Assist the audit team at the client’s office on engagements for various industries
- Prepare working papers and statements and test controls on assigned areas of the engagement
Tax Division Interns will:
- Provide accounting and tax services to individuals and businesses
- Prepare standard accounting working papers
Students who are able to work at least two full days of a week typically benefit the most from our internship programs.
These programs are usually six to ten weeks and we do our best to be accommodating around students’ schedules.
Audit Internships are offered mostly in the spring and fall. There may be internships in the summer, depending upon the workload.
Tax internships are offered year-round.
