Research. Analyze. Inform.

What You’ll Do:

• Research, summarize and/or analyze policy issues, bills, testimony, reports and other legislative materials.
• Prepare briefing materials and policy analyses and reports.
• Track legislation and emerging issues affecting Hawaiʻi.
• Assist with hearings, meetings, and other legislative activities. 
• Train and provide guidance to Finance session staff and support their work throughout the legislative session.

• Are comfortable interacting professionally with legislators, legislative staff, government agencies, and members of the public.
• Enjoy mentoring others and helping staff develop their knowledge and skills.
• Are organized and able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines professionally.
• Have Microsoft Word/Excel experience.
