A local nonprofit organization is seeking empathetic and dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join their team on a long-term temporary basis. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the local community and providing exceptional support to those in need of housing resources.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm

Location

Iwilei, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist intake specialists in managing client inquiries and requests.
  • Transition into performing intake specialist duties.
  • Provide information and guidance on housing resources to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate various software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse communities and personalities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous phone-based customer service experience is preferred.
