The U.S. Navy Financial Assistance Program (FAP) offers financial support to physicians completing residency or fellowship training in civilian programs.

ELIGIBILITY

  • U.S. citizen 
  • Accepted into or currently enrolled in an accredited residency or fellowship

SERVICE COMMITMENT

  • Typically 1 year of active duty service for each year of participation (minimum obligation 2 years)
