Developer Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

Formally document and assemble in unit and/or public area deficiency lists for Developer punch list and Buyer punch list. The scope of work will include engagement with contractors and buyers and will be reviewing areas related but limited to architectural, mechanical, plumbing and appliances.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Review and document all deficiencies including by not limited to surfaces, walls, ceilings, cabinetry, glass, appliances, and fixtures to create punch lists for units
  • Upon end of day or after each appointment, review list for accuracy and sync iPad to General Contractor’s mainframe. This process should be done prior to leaving for the day
  • Upon contractor completing corrections of issues identified, Reps will perform back check of punch list items to accept or reject corrections made
  • Perform additional tasks related to the project, as directed by a supervisor
  • Attend one (1) General Contractor’s Safety Course (one time, 1 -2 hours) prior to start
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations of General Contractor and project
  • Provide administrative support that includes responding to inquiries from buyers and agents via phone and email, preparation and organization of homeowner closing materials, tracking/reviewing/maintaining warranty cases via online portal system, and other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
 

  • Experience with previous construction or design experience desired
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient in apple products, able to navigate iPad or tablet
  • Professional email and phone etiquette, along with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Works well in group/team environment, able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision, strong organization skills, and able to meet deadlines
  • Resourceful, solution minded, exercises sound judgment when making decisions, creative thinker with “can do” attitude
  • Displays highest level of professionalism during all interaction with clients, contractors and vendors and builds positive working relationships with Buyers and employees at all levels within the organization


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
 

  • Candidate must be available to work varied shifts with possibility of weekends and overtime.
  • 30 – 40 hours/week, 5 days week – with start time 7:30am – 8:30am
  • This position includes standing, walking, bending, kneeling and other repetitive motions and has manual dexterity to use and operate equipment safely
  • Able to safely lift up to 30lbs
  • Construction site environment, personal protection equipment (PPE) always required
