Job Summary:

The Junior Account Executive Intern will work on-site with the Account Executive team to gain real-world, hands-on experience in sales development and lead generation within a professional staffing agency environment. This internship is designed to provide practical, experiential learning through direct participation in day-to-day business operations, mentorship, and guided responsibility.

Interns will perform meaningful work while receiving ongoing coaching, feedback, and skill development from experienced professionals.

 

 

Experiential Learning & Internship Structure:

This internship provides real work experience, not simulated exercises. The role is structured to comply with applicable federal and state labor guidelines for unpaid internships, by prioritizing the intern’s learning and professional development.

  • Interns receive hands-on training and mentorship while performing real business tasks

     
  • Work is performed under direct supervision and guidance of the Account Executive team

     
  • The primary purpose of the role is skill development and career exposure

     
  • Interns do not replace paid employees and work at a learning-focused pace

     
  • There is no guarantee of compensation or employment following the internship

     
  • Both the intern and AlohaHP understand the position is unpaid

     

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on-site with the Account Executive team at Eaton Square

     
  • Perform real outbound sales development activities, including cold-call outreach

     
  • Learn and actively use Aloha Insights, AlohaHP’s proprietary software

     
  • Upload, manage, and track potential client leads

     
  • Complete a learning benchmark of approximately 20 outbound calls per day

     
  • Document all outreach activity in the CRM accurately

     
  • Identify and qualify potential warm or hot leads for Account Executives

     
  • Participate in coaching sessions and performance feedback

     

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Interest in gaining real-world sales or business development experience

     
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone and engaging in outbound outreach

     
  • Tech-savvy with basic computer proficiency

     
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and coachable

     
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
