【Japanese/English biligual】Hotel Operations Marketing Associate (HTL)

Job Summary

Marketing associate will prepare all the necessary tasks ready for reservation team to handle their tasks.  Responsible for negotiating prices with with perspective hotels.

Make sure all the hotel necessary contents are up to date in the system.   Create the hotel tariff, conduct some market analysis, to make sure there's any discrepancies between HIS and other competitors

Make sure Hawaii HIS can provide the best experience as possible for our customers.

 

Essential Duties

  1. Following the JP team marketing plan, plan and promote hotel accommodations.
  2. Assist contract renewals and update various databases accordingly
  3. Request quotations from hotels
  4. Collect competitor data and generate various reports upon requests
  5. Update tariffs, input, and update hotel-related information on the web, and disseminate hotel-related information to various stakeholders.
  6. Respond to inquiries from the Japan sales office and other outlets in a professional and timely manner
  7. Throw all the necessary initial inventories to the system
  8. Align with manila outsourcing team and make sure their work is accurately done
  9. Other duties company assigns.

Qualification

 

  • Fluent in writing, reading and speaking Japanese in business manner.
  • Intermediate English ability (Speak, read, write)
  • Computer literacy
  • A customer-oriented and professional attitude
  • An outgoing personality
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25lb.
  • Team Player
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings.
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time,
  • Dressed professionally and neatly at all times 
  • Experience in hospitality industry is a plus
  • A customer-oriented and professional attitude
  • Diploma or BSc/BA in Hospitality Management is preferred

 

 

Physical Requirements: 

•          Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

•          Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
