Tax Associate
You will play a vital role in assisting clients with their tax planning and compliance needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience, grow professionally, and contribute to the success of our clients.
Candidates with personal and professional ties to Hawaii are preferred.
Narrative of Duties
- Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Help identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with senior tax accountants and other team members on complex projects.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (upon starting job)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to learn and work collaboratively in a team.
- Preferred CPA Exam candidate or someone that has already passed the CPA exam

Work Schedule
Generally 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Pay
Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience. This can be discussed during the interview process.
